Village Improvements Working Party

The Parish Council's Village Improvements Working Party (VIWP), organises environmental awareness events for the benefits of the residents.

Technically, it is set up as an informal team or working party to assist the Council, and its role is to consider potential ways in which the village could adopt measures which could reduce speeding, reduce traffic volumes and make improvements that would enhance the look and feel of the village. It is made up of two Councillors (Cllrs Martyn Rixson & Andrew Seaman) and 6 residents.

The VIWP was created on 10th June 2024 and its membership is reviewed annually.
