CWGC replaces headstone of F/Sgt Charles Auld

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission attended St John's on Wednesday 6th December 2023 to replace the damaged headstone for F/Sgt Charles W Auld RCAF.

F/Sgt Auld was a US citizen who joined the RCAF to fight in WW2. Sadly he (and pilot Sgt Robert F Shirley RAFVR) died in a training flight that crashed near Old in 1942.
