Ebeneezer Jabez Browning (1857 - 1927)

In 1880 he is listed as a Hon. Secretary of the Annual Flower Show.

In 1889 a fire in the farmyard destroyed 9 stacks and number of outbuildings.

In 1895 he was elected as the first Chairman of the Parish Council.
