Coronation event 2023

Following on from the Coronation Crafts Event, the Events team installed bunting and decorations at the Village Hall, 305th BG Memorial and the cherry tree on the triangular green, as well as placing the clues for the "Where is the King?" quiz.

    Enjoy a walk around the parish of Chelveston-cum-Caldecott to to find different images of King Charles III and other things of interest you may not have previously noticed.

    If you'd like to complete this sheet and bring it to the picnic on Sunday 7th May, in the Village Hall Paddock, a small reward awaits you…..

As well as the Union flag on the parish flagpole and bunting, the team also set up pots of tulips (donated by Bloms Bulbs) around the parish at the 305th BG war memorial, St John's church, Chelston Rise and the village hall.

On Sunday 7th May, the Events Team organised a community picnic, as part of the "Coronation Big Lunch", in the paddock behind the Village Hall. Luckily the weather was dry and sunny!
